How to Shore fish on cape san Blas beaches (for pompano)

Fishing from the beach is a great opportunity to catch dinner. In particular, we like to fish for Pompano.  If you did not bring fishing gear with you, you can rent a fishing pole San Flea Rentals located near Scallop Cove.  You will also want to grab supplies at Scallop Cove, they can help you get what you need but the basics are:

*  Bait - Highly recommend Sand Fleas (you can catch them yourself if you have a sand flea rake)
* Sinkers - 1 to 3 oz depending on surf
* Hooks - Recommend using Pompano rigs that have floats near hooks (usually 2 hooks per rig).
Fishing License - Don't forget this one
